While UFL players were free to begin working out and signing with NFL teams upon the completion of their season on June 1st per Mike Mitchell, limited feedback has been to given as far as the players who’ve begun their NFL journey. On Monday, June 9th several UFL players received NFL workouts as the league looks to match and surpass the 75 players that signed NFL contracts last signing cycle.

San Antonio Brahmas

Garrett Nelson, Cam Lyons, and Jashaun Corbin have all received workouts from NFL teams over the past week. Nelson a second year Brahma has recorded 31 Tackles, 2.5 sacks during his UFL career worked out for the Broncos. Cam Lyons the Brahmas Long Snapper worked out for the Texans who currently roster Tucker Addington of the 2022 Houston Gamblers. Lyons was brought in by San Antonio after Dalton Godfrey’s release was documented on “Deestroying’s” YouTube channel. The UFL’s leading rusher Jashaun Corbin has worked out for the Browns and Broncos while also having a workout scheduled with the Falcons later this week. Vitaliy Gurman a Division-II alum also worked out for the Saints per Aaron Wilson. Gurman was signed March 10th by the Brahmas after stints with the Chiefs, Raiders, Cardinals, and Jets.

Arlington Renegades

Jayden Price also worked out for the Broncos as well. Price was signed and traded by the Birmingham Stallions late in 2024 after a stint with the Falcons and CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Price served as one of the UFL’s most underrated Defensive Backs, in addition to being a key figure as a returner. Price totaled 12 pass deflections, and 530 All-Purpose yards between Kick and Punt Returns. 2nd-Year TE Seth Green also received a workout with the Saints per Aaron Wilson. Green served as a versatile TE for the Renegades often lining up as a Quarterback in Arlington’s Jumbo sets. Green has totaled 24 receptions for 236 yards and 2 Touchdowns for Two seasons in the UFL.

Arnette totaled 19 tackles for the Roughnecks along with 1.0 sack and an interception return for 51 yards in his first regular season action since 2021. Arnette could prove to be one of the UFL’s redemption stories if his NFL comeback is complete.

Memphis Showboats

Despite a 2-8 season the Showboats offseason has begun with some positive news. Defensive Back Keaton Ellis worked out for the Cleveland Browns after his first season with Memphis. Ellis was a key piece for Memphis this season defensively, starting 8 games played. Totaled 46 tackles, and 6 TFLs.

St. Louis Battlehawks

Kyler Baugh is the first Battlehawk to receive an NFL workout after the Battlehawks loss to the Defenders in the XFL Conference Championship game. Baugh was a reserve Defensive Lineman for the Battlehawks who totaled 13 Tackles and 1.0 Sack this year. Baugh has also spent time with the Saints and Giants since coming out of Minnesota in 2024.
